What is the difference between standard of living and quality of living?

The standard of living is about material goods which comfort us and the money where as the quality of living refers to the personal priority.every individual have their own standard of living and quality of living. It could be high or low standard of living or quality of living, but still they are happy with what they have.

In my country(Nepal) where i was born is called a poor country in the world.Still people were living their live with full enjoyment and happiness.During my stay in Nepal, there was no heater, no air conditioner ,no hot water, no washing machine and dry cleaner at home.We have to wash everything with our hands. Also, there was load shedding of 16 hours a day,and have to use candle instead generator. For some rich people might have some of those, but for the poor and middle family doesn't have these standard of living and they don't expect as well. There was less job opportunities in Nepal ,but still they managed to do something for their living.Mostly,Tibetan were more likely enjoying their quality of life in Nepal because they have factories and industries. Now,the standard of living in Nepal is getting better and people try to live their quality of life with their families.

Summary of The Trumpet of Conscience

In the article " The Trumpet of Conscience",Dr.Martin Luther King states the continuation of the earlier discussion against the war in Vietnam, repeating many of the same arguments, and adding to them after a time of facing detractors and refining his arguments. The concerns against the Vietnamese war were based on the moral issues of war working against poverty, as it drew effort and money away from the war on poverty. He based his argument that the war was an enemy to the poor on the fact that the greatest percentage of the men fighting and dying was poor black young men who fought in a foreign country for freedom, and he was not able to enjoy in his own home. The violence in the ghettos mimicked the war, with young black men facing soldiers and guardsmen. King believed that the Peace Prize had given him a commission to work for peace for all men.
