-According to the passage, the Author, Aesop fable, and the Maugham's story completely different.In the Aesop fable passage,the Grasshopper is lazy and ignorant.He didn't think of the future and ends later with empty larder but the Ant is hardworking and industrious.He think of the future and stored food for later.On the other hand, the Maugham's story tells that the Tom is a Grasshopper and George is a Ant.But at the end Tom who is idle and irresponsible gets everything and having a luxuries life but George is hardworking and honest.He has what he got from his hardworking and boring life.
